Food for Thought
...The endless blue skies and sunshine warm the productive soils, whose fruits can be found in the colourful stalls of the village markets, where ratatouille comes easily to mind. The varied landscapes dotted with aromatic herbs and the purple clad-lavender fields are inhabited by honey−producing bees. Cepes and morilles along with the coveted black truffle − "le diamant noir" are among the fruits of the oak forests.
...Locally produced cheeses and charcuterie, olive oils, vinegars and jams with a wealth of fresh produce ingredients for the Provencal table, are brought to market, such a colourful and sensuous scene. Take a seat at a street café and absorb the atmosphere, the hustle and bustle of the morning´s business before a long gastronomic lunch and relaxing afternoon, the clink of the boules as pétanque is played enthusiastically under the shade of the plane trees − this is Provence!!
Come and join us at "Le Diamant Noir", where a warm welcome awaits you
